How do I tip my driver?
You can tip in the app after the ride ends. 100% of the tip goes to the driver. Spinr takes no cut of gratuities.
Can I request a specific driver?
Currently, the system matches you with the nearest available driver to ensure the fastest pickup time. You cannot "pre-book" a specific person.
Can I bring my pet?
Service animals are always allowed by law. For non-service pets, it is up to the driver's discretion. We recommend chatting with the driver immediately after booking to ask.
What if I leave an item in the car?
Go to your "Trip History" in the app, select the trip, and click "I lost an item." This will connect you with the driver. If you cannot reach them, contact Spinr support immediately.
Can I pay with Cash?
No. For safety and security, all payments must be made digitally through the app (Credit Card, Debit Visa/Mastercard).
Is Spinr safe? How do you vet drivers?
Every Spinr driver has passed a police-issued Vulnerable Sector Check and a driver history abstract review. We also enforce strict vehicle inspections. You can share your trip status with friends directly from the app.
Is there an extra fee for airport pickups?
es. Both YQR and YXE airports charge a mandatory $2.00 curbside fee for all commercial pickups. This is passed directly to the Airport Authority, not Spinr.
Does Spinr pick up at Saskatoon Airport (YXE)?
Yes. At YXE, proceed to the Outer Curb (Public Curb) near Door 1. Please wait in the designated rideshare zone.
Does Spinr pick up at Regina International Airport (YQR)?
No. We are in contact with YQR, will shortly provide our service there.
How is the fare calculated?
Fares are based on a Base Rate + Fees + Distance. Because Spinr does not charge high commissions, our rates are often more stable than competitors. You see the estimated price before you book.
